Yoga for Runners Workshop — Switch On Your Stride (18th October)
Discover how yoga can help you switch off tension and tightness from running, then switch on strength, endurance, and flexibility for every stride. This workshop explores targeted practices to release tight muscles, improve mobility, and use breathwork to enhance focus, recovery, and performance. Whether you’re training for a marathon or enjoying a casual jog, you’ll leave with practical tools to keep your body balanced and resilient.

Inspired by our flexibility coach Ellen, who will be running the Yorkshire Marathon the very next day, this session is a perfect way to energise your body and mind before hitting the road.

Meet your Instructor

Led by Ellen—a qualified yoga and aerial yoga teacher, and a certified practitioner of the Alixa Flexibility Method—this class is designed to help you reach your flexibility goals safely and effectively.

As a trained biomechanics coach, Ellen understands that true flexibility comes from improving movement patterns across the whole body. She’ll guide you through exercises that target mobility and functional movement, using a variety of props (including aerial hammocks!) to support and challenge you.
