SNUG! Floating Nidra & Gong Bath June 21st 2025

Saturday 21st June 10am -11.30am £25

Sooth, restore and relax deeply in this blissful workshop

This cosy Saturday morning treat is suitable for anyone who needs a little relaxation and rest. Taking place on the morning of the summer solstice—which also happens to be International Yoga Day - this SNUG workshop is the perfect opportunity to honour both the light and the dark, and to prepare your body and mind for the vibrant yang energy of summer.

You are warmly invited to get snug, rest, and restore your energy levels in the peaceful surroundings of The Yoga Barn. The morning will begin with a guided floating meditation as you lay snuggled inside silk hammocks suspended about 40cm from the floor. The extra support of the silk hammocks allows the body to completely soften, surrender, and open in a gentle way for this ancient practice called Yoga Nidra (translated as yogic sleep). There is no experience necessary—just an open mind and a desire to relax. Yoga Nidra can bring us to a state of deep rest where our senses and mind begin to truly unwind.

Following this restful practice, you’ll float deeper into relaxation with a soothing sound bath of gong while still cradled in your little cocoon. Provided by Sarah from The Gong Space in Lincolnshire, this session is a full 60-minute sound immersion using three large gongs. This floating sound bath is a beautiful opportunity to pause and give yourself permission to truly rest, reset, and restore.

Whether you're marking the turning of the season or simply seeking peace, this workshop offers a nurturing space to reconnect with yourself and the rhythms of nature.
You will leave feeling refreshed, restored, relaxed and ready for the summer months ahead.
